Asus has announced new gaming phones in the ROG series. The ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. The new ROG Phone 6D shares a lot of similarities with the ROG Phone 6, which was launched a few months ago. The main difference between the two is that the latter one is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ instead of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

The Asus ROG Phone 6D with AURA RGB lighting starts at EUR 949 (about Rs 75,500), and the handset will offer up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.
Meanwhile, the Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, which includes the AeroActive Cooler 6, has a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model, which is priced at EUR 1,399 (approx Rs. 1,12,000).

The ROG Phone 6D features a 10-bit 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate 720Hz touch sampling rate and support for HDR10+ playback.
Powering the ROG Phone 6D is Mediatek’s top-end processor, the Dimensity 9000+ SoC clocked at 3.2GHz. The chipset comes paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 RAM.
The camera setup is also untouched. The 6D series gets a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies and streaming, there is a 12MP front camera.
Both phones pack a 6000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The devices also support all the accessories that were launched alongside the ROG Phone 6 models.
