Last week, we saw a prototype of the Pixel 7 series available online, months before the phones were supposed to be released in October. Now, it appears that Google’s new Pixel 6a has been available for sale online ahead of its official release.
Current situation shows how another recently talked about model from Google, Pixel 6a has also been visibly listed for a sale online. Similarly, this listing also came way ahead of its official release to the smartphone market. While we still have more than a month for the pre-orders to begin, the Google Pixel 6a has been listed on the Facebook Marketplace.
Pixel 6a Listed on Facebook Marketplace
A Facebook Marketplace listing for the Pixel 6a became online by Nils Ahrensmeier of reputable news site Technik News. The item, which has since been withdrawn, also included photographs of the mid-range Pixel. You can see these photos below. Nils also suggests that this Facebook listing was made by the same person who recently posted the unboxing video of the same on TikTok recently.
The Pixel 6a packs a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with support for just a 60Hz refresh rate. The display screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. For optics, the Pixel 6a packs a 12.2MP main camera teaming up with a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The back of the device contains the LED flash and dual-camera setup.
The device packs a 4,410mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging out of the box. Google’s latest Pixel phone runs Android 12 out of the box. Further, it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Google Pixel 6a is as well confirmed to launch in India later this year.
