Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro goes global along with Watch Fit 2, Watch D and Band 7

Huawei’s flagship product launch event took place today, where we saw the global debut of the Mate Xs 2 foldable phone, three smartwatches and one smartband. Watch GT 3 Pro is the flagship offering with a premium design and a load of health and activity monitoring features.

Watch Fit 2 is a more affordable item with a long battery life and a stylish appearance. Watch D puts health monitoring first with its blood pressure and ECG trackers, while Band 7 is the most affordable voice with a thin and light design and a two-week battery life.

Watch GT 3 Pro

The latest installments of Huawei’s Watch GT range are available in 46mm (titanium) and 43mm (ceramic) sizes. Both are equipped with AMOLED displays and numerous health and activity monitoring functions. You get standard heart rate and blood oxygen measurements, as well as stress and sleep tracking, but Huawei also adds ECG (market-dependent) and arterial stiffness sensing to the mix.

You can monitor over 100 sports modes including swimming and scuba diving. Runners and hikers can benefit from the onboard dual-band GPS. The watch works with Huawei’s Harmony OS 2 and you can answer calls via Bluetooth. Battery life on the 46mm model is rated at two weeks with mixed use, while the smaller 43mm model can last around a week.

Huawei Watch GT 3 (43mm) costs € 499 with the white leather band while the edition with ceramic band is priced at € 699. The 46mm Titanium model starts at € 369 for the silicone strap version and goes up to € 499 for the titanium strap model.

Watch Fit 2

Watch Fit 2 offers a 1.74-inch rectangular AMOLED display, all-day heart rate, SpO2 and stress tracking, as well as activity tracking for 96 sport modes. There are three styles to choose from: Active (silicone band), Classic (metal band) and Elegant (leather band). You can answer Bluetooth calls on your watch and receive fitness exercise animations right on the screen.

Huawei Watch Fit 2 is also equipped with built-in GPS and has a battery life of ten days. Watch Fit 2 starts at € 149 for the Active Edition and goes up to € 249 for the Elegant Edition model.

Watch D

Huawei Watch D was originally launched in China last year as a health-oriented smartwatch with ECG and blood pressure measurements. It can also track over 70 training modes and also perform the usual heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress measurements.

Watch D is expected to last up to seven days between charges and is IP68 rated. It packs a 1.64 “AMOLED color touchscreen. The price of the Watch D starts at € 449.

Band 7

Huawei Band 7 is the cheapest entry in today’s announcements, starting at just € 59. You get a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, and 5 ATM water resistance.

It comes in four colors and you can track over 96 sports modes. The battery lasts up to two weeks.
