Apple is preparing for the launch of its iPhone 14 series later this year, we have already reported on rumors regarding the next year’s iPhone 15 as well. Now, a new report has revealed that there might be some similarities between the 2022 and 2023 iPhone lineup.
The report further reveals that the hole-punch cutout will continue to be a part of the iPhone 15 display. Apple is rumoured to replace the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max with a hole punch and a pill-shaped cutout. It has not even launched the iPhone 14 series and the gossip mill has started disclosing some information about the 2023 iPhone models. The report states that the next year’s iPhone models will have the same display size as the forthcoming iPhone 14 series.
The report claims that the iPhone 14smartphone series might have a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch display. However, the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will have a 6.1-inch panel, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the iPhone 14 Max might support a 6.7-inch display.
The Omdia report further added that Apple is trailing behind the competition when it comes to under-screen camera technology. It was previously reported that the 15 Pro models launching next year will feature no cutouts on the display. The Face ID sensors were rumoured to be placed below the display.
