iQOO recently launched the iQOO 11 5G series in China. The company launched two premium smartphones named iQOO 11 and 11 Pro.
At the time of the global unveiling, the company confirmed that the iQOO 11 series is launching in India in January 2023.
The press release states that the iQOO 11 will debut in India on January 10. There was no mention of the 11 Pro, which has given rise to a lot of rumors and speculations about the phone’s launch in India.
Now, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya has confirmed that the 11 Pro is not launching alongside the vanilla flagship in January 2023.
Mary confirmed the news with the 11 Pro may arrive at a later date, but there are no concrete plans as of now. ,
The 11 Pro shares some hardware with the 11 5G. The main difference is in the camera, display and battery departments. The 11 Pro sports a curved display, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP portrait-telephoto camera.
It also packs a 4700mAh battery and supports 200W fast charging out of the box.
Both the phones share the same SoC and display features. The iQOO 11 5G also comes with the same SoC found in the Pro model. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 11 5G specifications, features, and other details ahead of its launch in India.
iQOO 11 5G: Expected Price in India, Specifications
iQOO 11 5G is expected to launch in India with at least two storage options. Its base model can come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The higher storage option with 256GB of memory is likely to be coupled with 12GB of RAM. There is no word on whether the 16GB RAM variant will be available in India.
In China, the base model of the iQOO 11 starts at CNY 3799 (roughly Rs. 44,900). We can expect the India price to be around Rs.50,000. The device has been confirmed to go on sale in India on January 13.
The 11 5G is available in three colors – Green, Alpha and Legend. The Indian variant is likely to come in Alpha and Legend colours. The device flaunts a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate support and 2K resolution. It has a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the 16MP front camera.
The 11 5G also comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging out of the box. The phone’s triple-camera setup at the back includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP telephoto camera sensor with 2x optical zoom.
There is a custom Vivo V2 Image Signal Processor (ISP), which is claimed to offer better low-light performance when recording videos or taking portrait shots.
