iQoo has recently confirmed that the company is going to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset for its next iQOO 9 series smartphones. Although officially announcement and details is not clear yet, but the new series iQOO 9 uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The iQoo 8 series was tipped to launch in India in November, but that got reportedly delayed due to a global chip shortage. According to information leaked from industry sources the iQOO 9 series smartphone is featured by 120W rapid charging support and might be released in India by the end of January or the beginning of February 2022.
It is rumoured to debut vivo iQOO 9 Series in India by February 2022 with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 & 120W Charging Support. iQOO is a sub-brand of Vivo has already released the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro model smartphones in China in August this year. As from the lates new leak report by 91Mobiles the company is planning to skip the iQoo 8 series and might launch the iQoo 9 series in the country in early 2022. The smartphone may debut in January or February 2022.
According to recent report by the company officials that iQoo 9 series is the copied version of the iQoo 8 series which includes the regular iQoo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro and both models support 120W fast charging. The iQoo 8 Pro even comes with 50W wireless charging support. Both smartphones packed with a 120Hz display and triple rear cameras. The selfie camera comes inside the hole-punch cutout on the front panel.
