iQOO recently launched the Neo 7 SE in China. The device packs the new Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is MediaTek’s new upper-mid-range SoC. It sits below the iQOO Neo 7, which was also launched a few months ago.
The company hasn’t launched a smartphone in its Neo 7 series as a new Racing variant is reportedly in the works. According to a new report, iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition will be launched soon.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO smartphone. The Vivo sub-brand will launch its upcoming performance smartphone with Snapdragon processor. Let’s take a look at the specifications, features and other details of the iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition.
iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition is expected to launch
iQOO Neo 7S Racing Edition will reportedly be the third smartphone in the lineup. The company is yet to confirm the launch details. Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed (via) that the phone will launch with the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The maximum clock speed of the SoC is 3.2GHz. The Neo 7S Racing Edition is said to come with up to 16GB of RAM. It will offer up to 512GB of internal storage. We can expect iQOO to launch the phone with 8GB/12GB RAM options as well.
Apart from the performance unit details, the tipster also revealed the display size and features. Digital Chat Station claims that the phone will have a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display.
The screen size is similar to the Neo 7 SE and the flagship iQOO 11 series. The AMOLED screen will also support 120Hz refresh rate, which is expected from a premium iQOO smartphone.
Furthermore, the tipster revealed that the phone will offer support for 120W fast charging out of the box. There is no word on the battery capacity but we can expect it to be between 4700mAh and 5000mAh.
Other details of the phone are currently a secret. iQOO has not confirmed any details regarding the launch of the Racing Edition smartphone. If launched, the phone is likely to sit between the Neo 7 SE and the Neo 7.
