Indian smartphone company Lava is trying to make a comeback in the market to compete with Chinese and Korean giants like Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung and OPPO. The company has been active in the budget and mid-range smartphone segment with the launch of Lava Agni 5G, Lava Blaze 5G etc.
Lava has now launched an entry-level smartphone in India in the form of the X3. The new Lava smartphone finds itself competing with the likes of the Redmi A1+ and some of the Realme C-series smartphones.
The phone comes with entry-level MediaTek processor. Lava has also launched the phone in three color options. Let’s take a look at the Lava X3 price in India, specifications and other details.
Lava X3 Price in India and Specifications
Lava X3 is a budget 4G smartphone priced under Rs 7,000 in India. It will be available for purchase in three colours. The device comes in Charcoal Black, Arctic Blue, and Luster Blue options. It has been launched in 3GB RAM variant with 32GB internal storage.
The price of the phone is Rs 6,999 in India. Its sale will start from 20 December. Pre-ordering customers stand a chance to win Lava Probuds N11 neckband worth Rs 2,999 for free.
In terms of specifications and features, the Lava X3 sports a polycarbonate build. The phone has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD with HD + resolution. It also sports a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera.
Barring a thick chin, the bezels around the screen are pretty slim. Since it is an entry-level smartphone, the X3 comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
At the back, there is a pill-shaped camera module that houses the dual-camera setup. There is an 8MP primary camera and a VGA sensor. The phone also comes with an LED flash module. For selfies and video calls, the X3 sports a 5MP front camera.
There is a 4000mAh battery. The phone supports 10W charging via USB Type-C port. It also comes with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 512GB. The device packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory.
It draws power from the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. In terms of software, the phone boots Android 12 Go Edition out of the box. The phone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone jack and supports Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS.
