The Moto E22s has been launched in Europe and the entry-level smartphone is the latest addition to the company’s E series. It packs a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, a 16-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. This is related to the Moto E32s, which Motorola launched in India earlier this year with the same octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. Both the phones get water repellant design, fingerprint reader in the power button and face unlock.
Moto E22s Price and Availability
As per Motorola’s press release, the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of the Moto E22s is priced at EUR 159.99 (approximately Rs 12,700). Arctic Blue and Eco Black are the two color options available at launch. Business-wise, the phone will soon be available in some locations in Europe and India.
Moto E22s Specifications and Features
The Moto E22s runs Android 12 out-of-the-box and sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The display gets a hole-punch cutout at the top-center and supports 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone gets the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, which is paired with 4GB of RAM.
The inbuilt storage of the Moto E22s is 64GB, but it can be expanded (up to 1TB) with a microSD card. It has a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging compatibility. The back is made of polycarbonate and has a water-repellent pattern. For biometric security, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
The Moto E22s packs a dual rear camera system with a 16MP primary sensor as the focal point for photography. A 2MP depth sensor is also included. For selfies and video calls, the front camera of the phone is 8MP.
