The phone will be available to purchase via Flipkart and the company’s official website in two colour options: Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose. The latest G-series smartphone flaunts a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution, 409ppi pixel density, and 20:9 aspect ratio and there is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.
The Moto G42 has been powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which has a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. The chipset is paired with the Adreno 610 graphics processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further increased up to 1TB by inserting a microSD card. The Motorola smartphone boots Android 12 out of the box.
The latest Moto smartphone offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Motorola stated that the 8-megapixel ultrawide camera also doubles as a depth sensor. It comes equipped with a 16MP front shooter for selfies.
The Moto G42 is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and 20W Turbo Power fast charging support. The device is also equipped with a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC.
