Motorola is preparing to launch another G-series smartphone – Moto G72 in the Indian market. As per the announcement, the Moto G72 will make its country debut on October 3. Motorola took it to social media channels to make a formal announcement for the same. Along with the launch date, Motorola has also revealed that the Moto G72 will feature a 10-bit polarized display and 108MP camera setup.
Ahead of the launch, a micro-site has also gone live on Flipkart that reveals all the specifications of the Moto G72. The launch micro-site reveals that the Moto G72 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and a 5000mAh battery. Let’s take a look at what the Moto G72 has in store for us.
Moto G72: Specifications and Features
The Moto G72 will feature a 10-bit OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 576Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300nits peak brightness. The display panel of the upcoming G-series device will feature DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10 support.
Powering the upcoming Moto G72 will be an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor based on a 6nm process. The smartphone will be available in 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage configuration. It will boot stock Android 12 and will come with ThinkShield which offers business-grade security.
In terms of optics, the Moto G72 will offer a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 108MP primary shooter, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a dedicated macro shooter. The ultra-wide-angle lens will also double as a depth sensor.
The Moto G72 will come equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and 33W fast charging support. It will also have an IP52 rating which makes it water repellant. The smartphone will also offer a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio. It will be sold in the country in Meteorite Gray and Polar Blue color options.
