Over the previous year smartphone maker, OnePlus’s launch strategy has changed for multiple reasons. While OnePlus usually launches two flagships in the first half of the year under the number series and one in the second half of the year under the R series, this year has been quite different.
According to a tweet by Max Jambor, OnePlus is working on a “OnePlus 10T” flagship and it is going to be the last flagship coming from the brand this year. Furthermore, in the comments of the same tweet, Jambor replied, shattering our hopes, that there will be no OnePlus 10 Ultra.
The brand first launched the OnePlus 10 Pro and then two Nord series devices Nord CE 2 and Nord CE 2 Lite. On top of this, the company as well launched the OnePlus 10R. While all of these happened in India, the company as well launched a new Nord N series phone and the Nord 2T in global markets all of these in a span of just five months in 2022. Now, a new leak suggests that OnePlus will launch another flagship smartphone in 2022 and it’ll be called the OnePlus 10T 5G. Let take a see at the details.
OnePlus 10T 5G Might as Well be the Rumoured OnePlus 10 Ultra
OnePlus 10T 5G is indeed the long-rumored OnePlus 10 Ultra, then we can expect it to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip and 150W wired fast charging support. It could as well sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel, 50MP primary camera on the back, and a 4,800mAh battery. Not to mention Hasselblad Cameras.
If the leak turns out to be true, the OnePlus 10T will be the first T series device after the OnePlus 8T as the OnePlus moved to the R series with the 9 series. Since OnePlus has betimes confirmed it is working on a phone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, it is safe to opine that the OnePlus 10T will be powered by Qualcomm’s chipset. The leaks of the OnePlus 10 Ultra also point toward the safe chipset. However, an early leak as well suggested that the company might launch a flagship phone with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC in few markets.
