OnePlus introduced the Nord smartphone lineup back in 2020. The brand launched its first non-smartphone product under the Nord lineup earlier this year. As of now, the brand has two non-smartphone products under the Nord lineup – Nord Buds and Nord Buds CE. Now, OnePlus is all set to expand the audio portfolio with the OnePlus Nord wired earphones under the Nord branding. OnePlus Nord Wired earphones will be launched in the country on August 27.
The OnePlus Nord wired earphones feature 9.2mm drivers, 0.42cc sound cavity, IPX4 rating, 3.5mm audio port, magnetic controls and more. Tipster Mukul Sharma also says that this earphone will be available only in single black color. And, the design of the Nord Wired earphones is similar to that of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z.
OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones: Specifications and Features
The key features of the OnePlus Nord wired earphones are more durable and come with a clean design, reminiscent of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z. This headphone is equipped with 9.2mm dynamic driver and 0.42cc sound cavity to deliver superior sound performance. These wired headphones offer a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and an impedance range of 54 ± 10% for superior sound quality.
Like other OnePlus earphones, the upcoming Nord wired earphones will also have magnets on either side and users can clip both to pause music playback and unclip it to resume. The OnePlus Nord wired earphones will only be compatible with select Nord phones as it has 3.5mm audio for connecting to the smartphone. For other devices that don’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, users will need a Type-C to 3.5mm audio dongle to use the Nord wired earphones.
OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones Price Expectations
As for the price, considering that the earphones are sold in the EU for €19.99, we can estimate that they will be around Rs 1,500 as OnePlus items are generally less expensive in India than in European countries.
