After launching the OPPO A57 4G in India and Thailand earlier this year, the brand is planning to launch another variant of the device called the OPPO A57s. The partial specifications and pricing of the device have already been tipped.
Ahead of the official launch, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore took to Twitter to share complete specs and pictures of the upcoming OPPO A57s smartphone. Based on the specs, we speculate that it could be a cheap smartphone. The gadget can be found in two color options , Black and Blue (with gradient finish). OPPO A57s Specifications and Features
The OPPO A57s will come with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution (1612 x 720p) and 60Hz refresh rate. The device will measure 163.74 x 75.03 x 7.99 mm and weigh 187 grams.
The handset will be powered by a budget-focused MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with an eight-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU with peak speed of 2.3GHz. The OPPO A series device will come with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. It will feature a 5,000mAh battery paired with 33W fast charging. The handset will run on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 operating system. The phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and will come with a stereo speaker setup. Other features will include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi 5GHz, 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.3.
The device will feature a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP sensor and a 2MP mono lens. On the front, we will find an 8MP selfie camera inside the dew-drop notch.
Pricing & availability
As of now, leaks have indicated that the OPPO A57s will be priced around EUR 199 for the 4GB + 128GB model. The launch date of the device is still a mystery, but we can expect more details to emerge in the coming days.
