Oppo is preparing to launch its next generation flagship smartphone in India. The company is expected to launch at least two premium smartphones namely the OPPO Find X6 and Find X6 Pro.
The exact launch date of the Find X6 series is unknown. Meanwhile, the rumor mill has started churning out more and more details regarding the upcoming Oppo flagship smartphones.
The latest information is about the OPPO Find X6 5G. The vanilla flagship model is likely to feature a triple-camera setup at the back. Tipster Digital Chat Station has now revealed more details about the camera sensors of the vanilla flagship. The OPPO Find X6 5G will debut in China early next year alongside the Pro model. It is likely to be launched in other markets as well. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Find X6 5G will also feature a 50MP triple camera setup.
The camera sensor will be different from the one rumored to be used on the Pro model. The tipster claims that Oppo will launch a vanilla flagship with the Sony IMX890 50MP sensor. The main camera will have optical image stabilization and f/1.8 aperture support.
In case you are wondering, the same sensor has also been used in OPPO Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro+ 5G in China. The new Oppo Find N2 also has the same primary camera sensor.
On the other hand, the Find X6 Pro is rumored to feature the Sony IMX989 1-inch 50MP sensor, which is also found on the Vivo X90 Pro+ and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Digital Chat Station further revealed that the Find X6 5G will also get a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP periscope lens. There is no word on the type of sensor. The telephoto camera could probably provide 2x or 3x optical zoom.
A leaked design render also shows the huge rectangular camera module, which houses the triple-camera setup and an LED flash inside. Hasselblad branding is there to confirm the partnership.
The cameras of the Find X6 will be tuned in collaboration with Hasselblad. Oppo will also pack its MariSilicon X NPU in the new flagship smartphone.
Apart from this, the tipster revealed that the Find X6 will be quite thick at 9.2mm. If you include the raised camera module, the device will measure around 12.3mm. Its weight will also be around 207 grams.
The vanilla Find X6 is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC or Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The device will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It is also likely to pack a 5000mAh battery and offer standard 80W fast charging support. There can also be support for wireless charging.
