Oppo has confirmed the date for its annual INNO Day event in 2022. Oppo INNO Day will be organized on December 14 through an online event. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Empowering a Better Future’.
The theme hints that the following foldable phones from Oppo could be launched at the event. It is being speculated that during the Inno Day event, Oppo will launch 2 foldable phones – Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip.
“This year’s event will debut a host of new cutting-edge technologies developed under OPPO’s four smart initiatives of Smart Entertainment, Smart Productivity, Smart Health and Smart Learning,” Oppo said in a statement.
The first Oppo INNO Day was held in 2019 when the company launched its first smartwatch. A rollable concept phone was shown off during the 2020 event, while the 2021 event saw the MariSillicon X NPU and a commercial foldable phone, the Find N.
Expectations from Oppo INNO Day 2022
The company is expected to launch 2 new Find N series smartphones – Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip. It may also announce a successor to the MariSillicon X NPU during the event. The chip will debut on the next Find N flagship devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. May give a preview of what the company is planning for 2023.
