The Chinese Tech Firm TCL has introduced six new tablets, a Windows laptop, and a pair of virtual reality (VR) glasses. TCL has unveiled a bunch of new products at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022. TCL announced a total of six new Android tablets at its CES 2022 press conference in Las Vegas today, including a 10.1-inch tablet with a NXTPAPER screen. The new and latest product lineup includes tablets across various price points, ranging from budget-friendly options geared towards kids to mid-range models that promise decent performance for everyday use. TCL’s laptop runs Windows 11 and has 4G LTE connectivity.

TCL Nxtpaper 10s :
The TCL NXTPAPER 10s is a tablet with a paper-like display. TCL’s Nxtpaper 10s comes with a 10.1-inch IPS panel with 1200×1920 resolution. TCL says that eye protection is one of its main features, and that it’s ideal for reading, of course. The display on the 10S is TUV certified and TCL claims its matte coating reduces blue light emissions over 50% compared to regular glossy screen devices. Blue right reduction “is front and center” says the company. TCL is promising natural color reproduction and clear viewing angles.
TCL Tab 10L :
The TCL Tab 10L is also an entry-level Android tablet featuring of 10.1-inch display with chipset of MediaTek’s quad-core MT8167B SoC and 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD. There’s a 4,080 mAh battery and Android 11 covering the software side. You also get two 2MP cams on the front and back as well as a headphone jack. It’s aimed as a replacement for heavy textbooks and as a media consumption device.
TCL Tab 8 4G :
Tab 8 4G is a more compact version of the Tab 10L featured with an 8-inch 800x1280px IPS display. The TCL TAB 8 4G is the one focused on learning and creativity, while the TCL TAB 10L focuses on entertainment and productivity. You get an MT8766B chipset with 2GB RAM and 32GB on board storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. There is a 2MP selfie cam and a 5MP rear shooter as well as a 4,080 mAh battery and Android 11 covering the software side.
TCL Tkee Max, Mid and Mini :
In addition to those three tablets, the TCL TKEE series also got announced. They feature a hard plastic shell overlay for added protection and all come in bright yellow colors and also come with Tkee pens for drawing and writing. It is focused on learning, but doing so “safely and responsibly”. All three tablets were tested to be childproof and child safe, says the company. The TCL TKEE MINI, MID, and MAX all these trio of kids-focused tablets comes in 10”, 8” and 7” sizes.
