Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 12 Ultra later this year. The 12 Ultra will be Xiaomi’s most premium smartphone offering. It will sit above the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and the 12X, which were launched globally earlier this year. There will also be a Xiaomi 12S sitting somewhere between the previously launched models. The exact launch date of the 12 Ultra remains unknown. While we wait for that, design renders of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra have leaked online.
The design renders uploaded by Zouton, in collaboration with OnLeaks, reveal the back and front of the upcoming Xiaomi ultra-premium flagship smartphone. Let’s check out the Xiaomi 12 Extremely design renders, specs and different particulars.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra Design Renders
Beginning from the front, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra can be seen sporting a punch-hole display with curved edges. The device measures 161.9 x 74.3 x 9.5mm. This means that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is thicker and slightly smaller than last year’s Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which has a 164.3 x 74.6 x 8.4mm. This indicates that it may not feature the massive 6.81-inch screen, which was made available on the predecessor. The new leak states that it could house a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel.
Moreover, the report has further revealed that the phone’s power and volume rockers will be located on the right side. The top panel is expected to house the cutout for the secondary speaker while the bottom panel will include the primary speaker, the USB Type-C port and the SIM tray.
