The exact launch date of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra was under wraps, but a new report suggests that Xiaomi 12 Ultra will launch on the same day as the ASUS ROG Phone 6. Xiaomi 12 Ultra launch date leaked
According to a TechGoing report, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will launch on the same day as the ASUS ROG Phone 6, that is, July 5. The report further suggests that the company will start teasing the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra starting from June 28.its official launch should surface in the next few days.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.6-inch QHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED with HDR10+ support. That display, curved as is the norm with recent Xiaomi flagship phones, is expected to reach a peak brightness of 1700 nits, and also houses a nifty 20 MP selfie camera within a hole punch.
There will be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Xiaomi will also pack a 5000 mAh battery and support up to 120W fast charging out of the box.
In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to offer a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera and a 20MP selfie shooter. At the front, there will be a 6.6-inch curved AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate and sport very thin bezels.
